In 2024, Daihatsu returned to GIIAS with the theme Daihatsu Sahabatku, reinforcing its image as the “Best Friend” of the Indonesian community. The Advancing Life Tomorrow concept was brought to life through various immersive experiences, engaging displays, and entertainment that attracted visitors of all ages.

Key booth highlights included:

• Iconic Characters: Featuring Daihatsu’s robotic cat, DAI-Chi, and an interactive family mascot, symbolizing the brand’s core pillars of friendship and innovation, designed to connect with families and young car buyers.
• Sustainability Showcase: The Sigra x DusDukDuk installation, made from recycled cardboard, highlighted Daihatsu’s commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices, drawing visitors to interact with the creative structure.
• Japan Concept Car Display (Me): A unique display of Daihatsu’s future BEV vehicles, with an activation zone where attendees could participate in creative activities like building models with Aquabeads.
• Live Talent Performances: Mahallini, Maliq & D’Essential, Tipe X, Padi Reborn. These performances were a major draw, creating an energetic atmosphere that engaged both attendees and the wider GIIAS audience.
• Visitor Engagement Activities: Interactive experiences like the Self-Printed Photobooth, Paper Art Crafting stations, and an After-Sales Service Education Area gave visitors hands-on experiences and valuable insights into Daihatsu’s offerings.

Daihatsu’s presence at GIIAS 2024 stood out with its strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and community engagement. The booth’s design, combined with stellar entertainment and interactive programs, helped Daihatsu maintain its reputation as one of the event’s highlights, earning both awards and widespread attention.
